1st July, 2020, Nairobi, Kenya… Rtn. Sarah Migwi was installed as the 2020/2021 President of Rotary Club of Nairobi-Lang’ata (RCL) last Saturday at an intimate purple themed event.
In efforts to clean and restore rivers as well as reach the United Nations Environment Programme recommended tree cover of 10% in the country, Rotary and Rotaract clubs have so far planted a total of 17,318 tree seedlings.
It is indeed a challenging time in our country as our frontline health workers continue to lead in the war against the spread of the deadly Coronavirus. Devastating images of people begging for food are heartbreaking and robbing our fellow Kenyans of the pride we hold as a nation.
Uhola Primary School is a publicly owned, mixed school located in Jera Sub-county, Siaya County. Due to the great need of premises in the school, funding was recently received from Uhola Village Foundation, based in Germany, to construct an ECDE wing with two classrooms and one administration office.
