Eric is a social entrepreneur with a passion for promoting youth entry into Uganda’s agriculture sector. Eric completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and communications from Monash University in South Africa in 2008.
He is an award-winning social entrepreneur and former marketeer who has spent the better part of a decade working to combine design-driven, experiential learning and empowerment programming to improve the livelihoods of young women in Uganda.
As an experienced non-profit leader, public speaker, and believer in the potential for youth as agents of change, he has spent the last 10 years between East Africa and Silicon Valley developing opportunities to effectively deliver last-mile, proprietary educational programming to one of the world’s most vulnerable populations – out of school, teenage girls – in under-resourced settings.
Eric also has a deep understanding of the power and determination of young people as drivers of change in our world for a more equitable future.
