Muna Mohamed is a health expert and a grass-root community organizer. She currently works for AFRIpads, a social enterprise manufacturing reusable sanitary pads, as a Regional Partnership and Business Development Representative.
For over 8 years, Muna has served marginalized women and girls from diverse cultural, religious, and linguistic backgrounds.
She holds a Bachelor of medicine & surgery (M.B.B.S) from the University of Khartoum, Bachelor of Human Nutrition & Dietetics from the Kenya Methodist University and a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacology. Last year, Muna received the Zuri Honoree Award in recognition of her service to the community.
Muna believes that when people come together to create a community of support and encouragement grounded in love, the impossible becomes possible.
