Munyu Primary School Renovation Project

Munyu Primary School, located in Kieni Constituency in Nyeri County, is one of the oldest schools in Kenya. The classrooms dates pre-independence era and are now in advanced stages of structural deterioration posing a risk to learners. The ablution facilities are also in a poor physical condition exposing users to hygiene-related diseases.

The school’s Alumni Community, together with the Rotary Club of Lang’ata (RCL), plans to upgrade the school’s classroom and ablution facilities. This project will be carried out in phases with Phase I expected to cost Kshs. 5,425,753.
